Pritish Nandy Communications has always shown us Mumbai through a different angle all together . Be it Four More Shots Please or their recent release "Modern Love Mumbai" , They have always made sure whether the audience belongs to the "City of Dreams" or not , They will make you fall in love with Mumbai , more than ever before . Beautiful serenic South Bombay or Thane's Lakes it is all about "Love".

In Mumbai , Love begins anywhere . In a Local Train , In a Corporate firm , At the sea . There is no particular place which chooses itself to fall in love with another person . Modern Love Mumbai explores all kinds of love (gendered , martial , food and drinks , old and young ) and it also provides courage to audiences through various characters to stand up for themselves and come out of the situations . For the first ever time I saw a episode titled "I Love Thane" but what I eventually realized that the web series failed to acknowledge the new part of Mumbai also known as "New Bombay" or "Navi Mumbai" because that is also an integral part of Mumbai before Vashi .

Secondly it also missed out on depicting Central Suburbs and Western Suburbs of Mumbai . A major chunk of the show was only shot in South Bombay , Bandra and even Andheri . I know Mumbai is so big that a webseries cannot cover it or maybe it will be touched upon in Season 2 but Mumbai is not Mumbai without the Traffic and travelling from one part of the city to the another .

The Show although says "Modern Love Mumbai" but love stories in one of the episodes of the show also depict a traumatic experience of a older woman called "Dilbar" whose role was played by the legendary actress "Sarika" . It shows her experience of fantasizing her love for a young man called Kunal and how she stops herself from that feeling of attraction and is guilty due to the painful memories of her car accident with a photographer called "Iqbal" . Though the show is Modern but it clearly throws a message at the audience that the old wounds cannot be stitched so easily and only through love , care and support the wound can be healed but not completely as some scars may remain with all of us forever .

I have experienced Love too , But I was not vocal about it . I Like to keep my feelings with myself because I always think my Love is nothing but infatuation but maybe watching such inspirational series I may not fall in Love with a person but I will definitely fall in Love with my City even more .
